After the 1988 Winter Olympics hosted by Calgary, the village that was established especially for media covering the events had to be put to better use, becoming the Signal Hill housing market. In 1990, real estate development began and the community now known as Signal Hill came into being.

Located on the south side of Broadcast Hill, Signal Hill has slowly expanded over the years and now neighbours Bragg Creek. Neighbourhoods in Signal Hill include Signature Parke and Sienna Hill. The most stunning aspect of homes for sale in Signal Hill is the spectacular views they provide of the Elbow River Valley. Richmond Hill also offers residents stunning views of the Rocky Mountains.

The Signal Hill area is home to roughly 4,000 residents, which shows just how much the area has grown in recent years.
