The Sundance real estate market in this part of the modern-day city was annexed back in the 1960’s. The community was developed much later, however, when it was established in 1982.

The manmade ice rink is equally attractive thanks to the big bonfire that lights up in the middle of the rink.

The lake offers excellent fishing opportunities for passionate anglers. Basketball and beach volleyball are some of the favourite sports for residents that engage in team sports. Other fun amenities include a paved rink for rollerblading enthusiasts, a picnic area, horseshoe pits and 2 playgrounds. The wooded area around the lake is enjoyed by walkers and by tobogganing fans in the winter.

In addition to enjoying the amenities of the community, when you purchase a home in Sundance, you can walk to nearby Fish Creek Provincial Park, which offers great pathways for walking, jogging and biking plus birdwatching. It is home to Sikome Lake beach, which is easily accessible to all residents of the neighbourhood.

The Shawnessy shopping area with its diverse stores and entertainment amenities is in close proximity to Sundance. You can reach the other parts of the city easily by taking a train from the Shawnessy C-Train station.
