There are plenty of other shopping and recreational facilities in the area which are quickly accessible by car and there is also a planned LRT stop right next to the community. With all of these combined amenities and original housing styles, New Brighton is certainly an up-and-coming area that continues to attract families and will see a lot of growth in the coming years.

The Catholic school St. Albert the Great is within the New Brighton community and it combines elementary and junior high school, a fact that makes the community very popular with home buyers. Other schools in nearby neighbourhoods and the rest of southeast Calgary are also easily accessible.
