Although it was only officially established in 2002, the Copperfield market has seen tremendous real estate growth in recent years. This is in no small part thanks to the community’s “Create Your Own Community” approach that it took to design. The area we know as Copperfield is bordered to the north by Marquis of Lorne Trail, to the south by McIvor Boulevard and to the west by 52 Street.

As Copperfield continues to grow, so does the number of homes for sale in the area. Currently home to approximately 4,000 residents and 2,800 homes, Copperfield offers buyers a choice of homes ranging from apartments and condominiums to single-family detached properties and townhouses. It is a testament to the planners of Copperfield that it has been able to grow so quickly and successfully over such a short amount of time. Copperfield homes generally sit on wide, tree-lined streets that offer residents the feeling of escaping from the hustle and bustle of a major city.

If you decide to purchase a home or townhouse property in Copperfield you won’t have to worry about where to shop since a number of shops, restaurants and other amenities are all congregated around the junction of Deerfoot Trail and 130 Avenue. In addition, there are a number of schools that serve the area.

The homes for sale in Copperfield are an outdoor enthusiasts dream. The neighbourhood is filled with many public parks, green spaces, and playgrounds for children, beautiful ponds and tree-lined streets. The community has three ponds including the Wildflower, Stillwater and Copper Ponds. They are all pretty much located centrally, often in conjunction with a playground.

Copperfield is a part of the Copperfield/Mahogany Community Association which also provides activities and events for the neighbouring community of Mahogany.

Parents buying homes here can choose to send their children to schools in neighbouring areas or have them attend one of the schools located exclusively within Copperfield. This is one of the best family-friendly communities in Calgary and definitely one of the most unique.
