Back in 1956 Bayview was annexed by the City of Calgary, and in the 1960’s it was turned into a residential housing market. Today you’ll still find many of the original homes that were built over 50 years ago, with their distinctive historical looks and flavours.

There are numerous school options within the Bayview housing market. For students attending K-6, you’ll have Nellie McClung and Chinook Park to choose from. Students that are in grades 7-9 can attend John Ware School while grade 6-9 students may attend Bishop Pinkham Elementary School. Other schools close by include Harold Panabaker Elementary School and Henry Wise Wood High School.
