The Citadel real estate market was developed in 1993. The community is laid out in a circular shape with roads forming an imaginary wheel with spokes. Stoney Trail forms the northern and southern borders of the neighbourhood while Sarcee Trail is to the east and Country Hills Boulevard is to the west.

The Citadel Community Association always has various events and projects on the go. These activities range from the annual winter gala and Stampede breakfast to the Kids/Tots Summer Program and the community beautification project. You’ll love it here in Citadel with a number of housing options and plenty of amenities close by.

For families looking to purchase a home in Citadel, the choice of public and private schools is extensive. The newest public school in the Citadel area is Citadel Park K-4, which was built in 2006. It has a big playfield and a creative playground. Arbour Lake 4-6 is another public school in the area and St. Brigid (K-9) is a newer school with a focus on Catholic education.
