The real estate market in Pineridge was built on empty prairie land during the housing construction boom in the 1970’s. Pineridge was later established as a community in 1974. Now it is a fully-developed residential neighbourhood with plenty of green space.

The shops, cafes and restaurants of downtown Calgary, Chinook Centre Mall and Market Mall are within 15 kilometres of this peaceful community that offers just a little bit of everything to potential home buyers.

Parents purchasing a home in Pineridge will like the fact that the local area offers schools for students of all ages. The major public school options include Douglas Harkness Elementary, Dr. Gordon Higgins Junior High and James Jack Senior High. St. Patrick Elementary School is also an option and if you move here you’ll have easy access to several institutions offering a higher education such as Mount Royal College, the Devry Institute of Technology, SAIT and the University of Calgary.
