The area where the Marlborough Park neighbourhood stands today was annexed to the City of Calgary in 1961. The development of the community began around a decade later in the 1970’s and it was formally established in 1972.

This low-density residential neighbourhood of Marlborough Park has a variety of homes for sale on the listings. Single-family houses are the most popular option, but buyers can also select from other types of Marlborough Park real estate. There are plenty of shopping areas and facilities in the local area as well with Marlborough Mall the closest. Cross Iron Mill, Chinook and Calgary’s Market malls are less than half an hour away by car. Real estate in Marlborough Park is served by two public elementary schools in the community including Cappy Smart Elementary School and Roland Michener Elementary. Dr. Gladys McKelvie Egbert Junior High School is the main option available to older students and St. Martha Elementary and Junior High School is at the southern edge of the neighbourhood’s park.
