Ever since its establishment in 1990, real estate development in the Country Hills housing market has made it a fast-growing community. The Northern Hills Community Association, which was founded in 1994, serves this community plus Panorama Hills, Coventry Hills and Harvest Hills.

Buyers can select from a wide variety of Country Hills real estate. In the community, which is virtually split in two halves by the local golf course, most residential units are single-family houses. They range from starter homes to large luxury estates right next to the course. In addition to detached homes, there are typical townhouses and multi-family condominiums as well, but their number is considerably smaller. Since this neighbourhood in northwest Calgary has been developed on a hilly terrain, many homes offer spectacular views of the golf course, Nose Hill Park and even the city centre’s skyline.

The borders of the community are Country Hills Blvd in the north, Beddington Trail in the south, Harvest Hills Blvd in the east and Country Hills Golf Course and West Nose Creek in the southwest. Residents can reach Calgary International Airport in just 8 minutes via the No. 2 Highway and the TransCanada Highway.

Homes for sale here are within easy access to the local shopping facilities as well as to all parts of the city thanks to Country Hills Boulevard, Harvest Hills Boulevard and Beddington Trail. Real estate near the Country Hills Golf Club, makes this community very desirable. In the southern direction there is Harvest Hills Crossing, which is popular for its Asian market “TnT.” In the northern direction, you’ll find the Country Hills Town Centre, which is home to many stores, from Sobeys to Home Depot and plenty of restaurants.

For families living in Country Hills, Cardel Place, which is just a few minutes north of Country Hills, is great asset. It’s a large recreational centre offering a variety of facilities, from a public library and meeting rooms to skating rinks, an aquatic centre and team sports fields. It has programs for pre-school children, youth and adults. Various community programs are offered by the Northern Hills Community Association as well. These include a soccer program and youth forum.

Home buyers have access to a large range of school options and some of the public schools in the local area are Coventry Hills Elementary, Simon Fraser Junior High and Crescent Heights High.
