The land encompassing Highland Park real estate was annexed by the city in 1910, and today its boundaries are defined by McKnight Blvd, Edmonton Trail, 32 Avenue, and 4 Street. Its neighbouring communities include Greenview, Tuxedo, Highwood and Thorncliffe.
